Clay graduated from Faulkner University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science, where he received the Exercise Science award. This award was given to the top student in each graduating class. He played all 4 years at Faulkner and was named to the SSAC All Conference Academic Team. Clay now works as the Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor for Dothan Leisure Services.
